2 Become 1

I saw this post on A Pretty Obsession's blog and thought that I would run with the idea! So as I understand it, GFC is coming to a tragic and unfortunate close. With this end comes Bloglovin'. If im completely honest I havent had much interest in it, although I do use it. It just has never been something that I routinely go to when it comes to my blog, and blogs of others. But that's just one average girls opinion. Here's how you can quickly and easily load all of the blogs that you follow on GFC to Bloglovin'.

When The Stars Go Blue

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like up to this point you lot only really know a few things about me. I like makeup, fashion and Starbucks. I feel like if you, my lovely subscribers, are going to read my blog and hopefully be inspired by a few things, then it would only be fair for me, to share with you a bunch of other random little facts about me.

My gorgeous sisters and I at my high school graduation!

My name was originally Jamie but my mum legally changed it when I was about 7. After I saw A Walk To Remember I was furious!

I have had more animals than I can remember the names of. Mostly cats but dogs, bunnies, frogs, fish, birds, a hamster. I think its fair to say that I love animals.

My favorite cereal is French Toast Crunch. They haven't sold it in Canada for far too long, so I'm sending out a plead for anyone that is able to get a hold of it to send me a lifetimes supply!

My favorite TV show of all time is Veronica Mars and I seriously am having panic attacks waiting for the movie. Kristen Bell is pretty darn amazing! I Dream of Jeannie is a really close second.

Ive wanted to be a singer and actress my whole life but seeing as how it isn't the easiest career to break into, I'm now hopefully going to be a stylist.

Ive met the freckin glorious ginger Ed Sheeran. He was lovely but I was so excited that when i had my picture taken with him I didnt focus on looking not like an idiot. Worst picture-best memory!

You probably wouldn't have guessed by looking at me that was a joke but I have never had a boyfriend....

My biggest fear is weather. I don't mean a little rain or hail, but tornadoes or earthquakes ect. In Canada, or at least where I live, we don't get earthquakes, hurricanes or anything like that. We get a lot of tornado warnings in the summer. Fun Fact: whenever we do get a tornado warning I get instant panic attacks until the warning has gone.

I am a ridiculously picky eater. For your enjoyment and education, here is just a taste of the things that I will not eat. Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Pork, Lamb, any type of cheese that isn't from a cow, blueberries, bananas, fish, steak, meat on the bone, pineapple, olives. I think that probably good for now, but I can imagine that you were completely riveted, so please just feel free to ask for a whole post specifically centered on my least favorite foods. ;)

Never have I ever been to Disney Land or Disney World....I have been to Disney Paris but to be honest im not counting that...If you've been there I believe you'll know what I mean.

What do you think? Any things that really surprised you? X

My Week Through Instagram || #2

Ah Instagram - the photo sharing site loved by millions of inner fatty's. Seriously though, I never realized how much junk I actually eat. Instagram's like Weight Watchers for cheapo's. My excuse though for all the sinful sweetness in this post is that it was Easter. Me being the good Christian girl I am, knows that God would want me to celebrate his resurrection with multi-colored cupcakes and slushies... Yesterday I had a ridiculously early doctors appointment to do a post op check up. I havent gotten up before 11 AM for about a year, and so a 7:45 appointment really didn't sit well with me. The only way I know to help you get through and survive such torture, is an Iced Caramel Macchiato and a cheese croissant. Nothing can make you feel like waking up that early isnt a waste, is delectable Starbucks! Who loves Cinnamon Toast Crunch? You? Of course you do, it's delicious! As far as I'm concerned, sugary cereal is a necessity not a 'once in awhile treat', it's amazing and no one should be forced to go without.

Review || Lush Love Lettuce Face Mask

I have never bought a lush mask. I'll let that simmer with you for a few seconds.. It's shocking isnt it? A beauty blogger that hasn't dabbled in the many fresh pots of loveliness. These are strange and uncharted waters, but we'll get through it together. I was drawn the the 'Love Lettuce' mask initially because I was finding that my skin was so dull and I had a few areas where I had dry flaky skin. This mask in particular stated that it would help cure me of these pesky problems. I can happily and honestly say that these folks don't lie!

Love Lettuce is made of mainly agar, almond&almond shells, fullers earth and the seriously incredible french lavender oil. I love the security of Lush products; you can always be confident that they are only using the freshest and most natural ingredients they can. I never feel guilty or wary about using their products - whether it be their luxurious bath bombs, toothy tabs (which are phenomenal) or now a staple face mask. Now let me tell you, the french lavender oil they use in this mask is so delectably glorious - it calms your mind especially if your soaking in a bath with your favorite bubbles or essential oils.

The consistency of this green machine is thick yet still light, so that when you spread it over your face, which couldn't be easier, it doesn't feel like you have a massive vat of crap coating your face. There's nothing worse than the feeling of too much oil just sitting there festering away. Lovely image aint it!  The almond shells give this mask a smooth exfoliant that wont rub your skin raw, but leaves you with a fresh rejuvenated mug. The Kaolin and fullers earth deep clean, absorb grease and dirt and tighten the skin. As you lay back, relax and empty your mind of the weeks difficulties - let this mask do its work. Feel your skin getting back to its once jolly blissful self.

Once your ready to rinse this mask off, i strongly recommend to wet your face just so it is no longer dry. After it has been sprinkled with water, gently massage your face in circular motions for however long you feel necessary. Then wash your face until it is completely mask free and you no longer look like the jolly green giant. After that use your favorite toner, I use Boscia Clear Complexion Tonic, to additionally clean and rejuvenate. To finish off, the moisturizer - I like to use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense.

I would recommend this to anyone that suffers from dry skin. I think If you have oil skin but also have areas of patchy dryness, this mask could do many wonders for your skin. Love Lettuce is just magnificent and for $6.95 a pot, this joy is a steal! If your a strictly homemade face mask type of girl, I cannot advise you enough to take a step away from the rolled oats and get down to your local Lush store. Just give it a go! You can get about 7 masks out of this, so really your just spending a dollar per mask! It would be a crime not to! If you can't already tell, I love this mask and will continue purchasing it for a long while. This mask needs to be refrigerated and lasts for 2 weeks.

Alright so let me just summarize what this mask can, and will do for you dames! It will gently exfoliate away any and all dry flaky patches. Soften & smooth your skin to the place before all products - you'll essentially be back at baby smooth! It will completely clarify your skin and rid it of all dirt and grease. The french lavender oil balances any oils that you unfortunately have on your t-zone, and will ease any inflammation your skin is suffering from. If you use a variety of products which, lets face it, aren't good for your skin no matter what they say. Then this mask is definitely worth slathering on because it will just completely dissolve and work away any remaining remnants. Your face will thank you repeatedly! Love it, love it, love it!

Have you tried any Lush face masks? What do you think of them?
