Apps I Love

I don't know about you but every now and then I go on an insane app spree. There's only 1 rule. The app must be free, I can't be spending money on something I can't wear. Through my app spree I often find some greatly unappreciated gems. I know that I love finding new amazing games to play and I thought that you might too.

First is the oh so festive Rail Rush. Basically this love is a Christmasy version of Temple Run and Subway Surfers.
Proceed With Caution as this game is highly addictive and may cause fatigue.

Frisbee 1 & 2. My kryptonite. This game holds my most accomplished and biggest waste of time awards. If you know this game you would know that you can either get a bronze, silver or gold medal once you finish each level. You will also know that there are about 10 worlds and 12 levels within each world. I got gold in everything. When I say everything I literally mean everything! Even those impossible bonus levels. Please please only get this game if you don't have the deliberating characteristic of being a perfectionist.... Actually never mind, just go get it!

Ever watched Countdown and wished that they would have a version that wasn't so fricken hard and that didn't have any math questions? Well look no further than free Boggle! It's amazing. Once you start playing you can't stop. Even when you do stop it's all you can think about. I guess it's kind of like an addiction but if you're learning along the way can it really be called an addiction? The short answer is no!

Next and last is definitely the most unappreciated of the bunch. Scrabble. Yes that's right, I love Scrabble. With the app you can set it on easy so you almost always beat the computer! In any other game where you play against the computer you haven't got a chance in the firery blazes of hell, but on Scrabble you win!! Isn't that enough to make you want to get this? You will finally live the childhood dream of beating 'The Computer'!!

Just a short little burst of word vomit but hopefully one that you can appreciate.
What apps are you currently slipping on ice for?

Have an amazing week everyone! Keep warm! X

Want a Personal Stylist?

Of course you do. Who doesn't? If you thought that you couldn't afford one now or ever, you won't believe me when I tell you that you can now have one for FREE!

I wrote a post a few months ago about a new clothing website that allows you to show and share clothes with your friends. Recently the lovely Laura from Mallzee, hello if you're reading this, sent me an email letting me know that they had created a new iPhone/iPad/iPod app that acts like a personal stylist in your pocket.

The Mallzee app allows you be at home in your jimmy-jams whilst picking out sophisticated ensembles catered specifically to you and it's so simple to get started! All you have to do is download the app, select your favorites stores, connect to Facebook and browse to your hearts content. There's no need to rifle through racks upon disorganized racks, you just double tap the clothes you like, pinch the ones you don’t, and share to get opinions on the one's that you’re not too sure about. The more that you use Mallzee the more clever and tailored it becomes. BONUS! In no time at all you'll be addicted to this little patch of certain sunshine!

What are your favorite apps at the moment? X

Best Moments of Girl World

Before I start this post I just want to apologize to you all for my being so awol lately. I was in LA and Disney for 10 days but that's all really just an excuse for being lazy. I'd like to promise that I'll post bi-weekly or even weekly from here on out, but if you've been reading my blog for a little you'll know how utterly hopeless I am at being consistent. I will try but basically this note is just a sorry in advance... Sorry.

On with the show!

Taking your bra off. I'm sorry if you're a guy reading this but you have to understand how momentous this moment is everyday for us. The feeling of unhooking those leechy latches and letting the blood flow back and when, there's no dignified way of saying this, the girls go free. Phoar! It's a goodin.

Releasing your hair from that too tight top knot. I never realized how many bobby pins I actually put into my hair until that miraculous/painful moment where I take my hair down when I get home. How have I not impaled my head on one of those devilish spears yet?

Seeing that pink sequined something from across the largest Forever 21 in the world and rushing towards it body checking any girl who even glances at it before you get there. Then deciding that you really don't like it, but you still stuff it behind a large woolly sweater so no one else can buy it.

Dancing and singing in a faux broadway fashion but then you nail that high Idina Menzel note in Gravity. You've never felt so proud of yourself.

The guy who you like and think likes you too cause you know, he looks at you all the time and blushes and laughs that adorable laugh and is just so perfectly perfect, texts you 'What did I miss in class yesterday?' It's obviously just an excuse to talk to you. Obviously.

I know it's not much but I just felt like writing a little mind wandering list. I hope that you have all been well recently and that you are staying warm this blustery evening. It's -30*C where I am without wind chill! Perfect excuse to wear a onesie - am I right ladies and One Direction!?

What are you favorite of all favorite reasons it's best to be a girl?

Lush Haul!

Floating Island Bath Melt || A French Kiss Bubble Bar || Fizz Banger Bath Bomb || Stepping Stone Foot Scrub

It feels like it's been ages since I've done my last Lush something. I suppose that I should be proud, given how much I would be spending if I allowed myself to give in whenever I felt the temptation. Which, for your information, would be every second day.

My Lush has recently gone and gave their already amazing store a massive revamp so really I was just doing my duty as a mall go'er to support them in their endeavours. I was being selfless until I became selfish and wanted to buy everything and call the lovely sales girls my best friends. It's near impossible to feel unwanted in that store. If your being ignored by the humans in your life and you don't have a dog, go into your local Lush shop because everything will be set anew! Maybe if there was lovely bath bubbles and oils around in when WW2 began things wouldn't have gotten so messy! They really just needed a lovely soak whilst listening to Michael Buble. Solved!

Alright let's get less controversial. I think that it's safe to say that the majority of people love Lush and all the wondrous things that lay perfectly inside. I for one could hold back no longer - this is what I got.

Floating Island Bath Melt She smells of lemon, vanilla and cocoa butter. Basically you let her float and fizzle away in your tub whilst you soak and transport yourself to an island full of Johnny Depps fanning your tanned 6 pack'd body. It's really too bad that it's not actually reality, but if this is as close as I will get to him I'll take it 100 times over. This bath melt is specifically great if you have dryer skin and hate taking the time to moisturize your entire body. You'll never have had a bath as long as the bath you'll have with this melt. Luxury has never been so cheap or found in such a compact form!

A French Kiss Bubble Bar Who doesn't love the deliciously calming scent of lavender? Crazy people, that's who!(unless you don't - your definitely not crazy) I wish I could just soak in a vat of lavender oil, but seeing as how that would be ridiculous, as well as exceedingly expensive, I will happily make do with this bubble bar. Frenchy has the best arms that just wrap around you and allow you to fall asleep within a swarm of comfort and bubbles. What more could you ask for?

Fizz Banger Bath Bomb This bath bomb has pop rocks in it. As if you need a better reason to get this star, which you don't, it also smells of apples and cinnamon toffee! How does this exist?! I have no idea but I am overjoyed that it does. Pwef, Lush has gone above and beyond and I think they deserve a cuddle for this one. How many times have you been in your bath thinking about how much you wish fireworks would just spontaneously start? Obviously people at Lush, which is why they get paid the big bucks. Such beautiful minds! Toffee in a bath bomb! This is happening!

Stepping Stone Foot Scrub So feet are gross right? Not with this smartly designed foot scrub. Its in the shape of a foot. Can I please just be inside the mind of a Lush designer? After summer my feet where surprisingly scuffed up, also I just wanted to try the scrub, so I decided to give this good boy a try. So glad that I did, not only do my feet now smell of a refreshing drink of lemonade, but they also look like I've paid someone big smackerolies to bring my feet back to their former glory. $4.50 for this foot shaped foot scrub. I could lick my feet, if I was flexible enough, and would find it a delightful experience. True story.

I wish I could say that it will be awhile for the next Lush haul, but it's Christmas soon and we all know that Lush is the best play on earth at the most wonderful time of the year. I'd probably say that there will be another next month.

What are your all time favorite Lush products that you can't live a good life without?

Links I Love #5

Yet again the week has gone by and once again it is Sunday. Weird how that works aint it?
Not really? Oh..yeah I didn't think so either..
Here's to another round of Links I Love!

This is my favorite song. Have you ever felt as though you were struck to the heart by a certain piece of music? This is mine, every time I hear it I instantly start crying. John Hiatt is a master - can we all go and ask him to sing this at my future wedding? Also the link I gave you has Benny and Joon playing in the video. Just listen and maybe it will strike you the way it struck me.

Yep that's right. Baby Orangutans! In shopping baskets, getting bathed and being fed by bottles! Can you contain your excitement! Just watch it and come back, I`ll wait...

I can`t tell you how excited I am for Christmas this year! Especially looking at how amazing the spread is at Lush! They have out done themselves yet again. I might as well just hand them my wallet - it would probably be cheaper. I have a problem..

Thanks so much for reading! Have an amazing week everyone!

Tell me what Lush products you are lushting after this Christmas season! Super embarrassing how proud I am right now after using and creating the word lushting!

Links I Love #4

How is it already Sunday? These weeks have been going by so quickly, it's crazy! If you're weeks are going by like a sloth climbs (and if you have a blog), then I highly recommend starting a weekly blog segment. You will be astounded at how quickly the times comes to write the next post! Now that the ramble is out of the way, here are my top 4 links that I have been loving this week!

This is such an amazing Tumblr for when you get home from work, when you're so fed up of life and all you want to do is stop thinking. If you go to this page, I guarantee that you will forget all about the busy day you have had, as you will be laughing far too much to remember.

Sure it might be a bit of a cheat to put this one on as well but really, it's Disney! Just copy and paste what I put above except add Disney, which is often so much better! Also I'm headed to Disney next month so I might be a little biased. Have I said Disney enough? Disney.

I hadn't noticed until I've been writing this post, how much I have been loving Tumblr this week! All the hidden gems get me so excitable, who could blame me? Especially with this little number. I know that it's mainly snowy and Christmasy loveliness, but I've already put up our Christmas lights... (shh it's our little secret - and my neighbours). There's also some autumn-ness mixed in as well, so boo!

 CTFxC || Internet Killed TV
It's definitely fair to say that I was 5 years late on this band wagon.. However, since I've emerged from whatever I thought was life, I can now firmly say that I am a Trippy fanatic and it feels damn good too! I have watched so many of their videos and lost hours of sleep, but oh it's so worth it!

What have been your favorite links this week? Let me know in the comments, also tell me where I have to go and what to check out when I go to LA next month!

Have an amazing week everyone! X

Fall Make-up Wish List

I cannot explain to you how insanely obsessed I am with fall fashion and make-up this year, without coming off completely hysterical. As you can probably tell by the lack of color diversity color above, I am loving the mauves, gold hued wines and plums to an embarrassing extent lately. How many burgundy's can you buy at one time without the cashier looking at you with the stink eye? Hopefully it's three and a rose gold shimmer. They're all significantly different...right?

What are some of your must have beauty items that your hoping to pick up in the next few weeks?
Let me know in the comments!

20 Regretful Moments

I regret not bleaching my hair when I was younger as it was always a bad hair day regardless of the color.

I regret not trying harder to make an effort to socialize with people in school because either I couldn't be bothered or I thought they were 'cooler' than me. Not true! Just push yourself - it's scary but maybe you'll meet your best friend!

I regret making myself seem like a stalker and creating a fake boyfriend called Dustin to make the guy I liked jealous. Shocking that it didn't work, isn't it?

I regret not attending school as often as I should have because it definitely made my friendships suffer.

I regret not forcing myself to each fish when I was younger because maybe if I did I would like it now.

I regret not dancing like a fool at all of the school dances.

I regret not being in the high school drama club.

I regret not pursuing music as much as I wanted and knew I could.

I regret going to the first and only cheerleading class I've ever taken.

I regret making the ducky face in all of my grade 9 pictures. Thankfully not the yearbook picture!

I regret paying $500.00 for clip in hair extensions! $500!!!! What an idiot!

I regret the pink cords I wore in elementary.

I regret lying to you about regretting the pink cords....I freaking loved them!

I regret trying the blue cheese sample at the grocery store and puking 10 minutes later in the packed car park.

I regret not making more giant M&M cookies when I worked at Cookies By George.

I regret the blonde streaks that were supposed to be highlights that i couldn't afford to change and that made my hair look permanently greasy.

I regret having fish. Disgusting creatures.

I regret ever eating that pretzel wrapped hot dog in Seattle and the terror that later ensued.

I regret the 2 hour bus ride to the outlets where the only thing I bought was said hot dog.

I regret deciding that it was a good idea to lay on the ground beside my dog, who then proceeded to sit on my face. Our relationship just hasn't been the same since.

Well that wasn't traumatic at all! It's not often that I sit here and think about all the ridiculously stupid and embarrassing things I've done throughout my life. It will definitely set you straight if you ever get to big for your boots! I highly recommend waiting for that time to do this.

What are some of the most cringe-worthy things you've done? Please let me know that I'm not alone in my stupidity!! X

Links I Love #3

Oh boy, do I have a lovely bunch of ladies for you this beautiful Sunday evening. This week I've been really getting back into beauty products and loving 'look book' type posts. Through this I have found some amazing girlies that are without a doubt going to be a regular feature in my future web-devours.

I have loved Zoe and her magnificent brows for such a long time! Her blog fruitybeauty features some tutorials from her book Amazing Face, as well as some crazy gorgeous photos. She has THE best teeth I have ever seen in my life and I hate her for it. Why can't I have those beautiful pearly whites?! WHY!!

Oh beautiful Polly and her disgustingly wonderful accent. I first found Polly through Beauty Bootcamp by Dailymix and thought that she was wondrous so naturally I went to have a look at her channel. Well good golly miss Polly she is simply delightful! If you haven't seen her videos please click the link above, watch a couple and come back to thank me for introducing you to your new favorite Youtuber!

Everyone this is Sophie, she is from Leeds and likes fashion. She is one hell of a blogstar and she knows it! Not only are her posts most joyous but the pictures give me endless goose bumps of jealousy. Don't we all wish we could be as genuinely tumbler-esque as dear Sophie here?

So I know that I normally do 5 weekly favorites but I've been really focused on all of the chickees up there, as well as living my dreary life. Maybe there will be all 5 next week..maybe there won't. I live on the edge like that.

Toodle-loo my lovely friends have an amazing week! X

Links I Love # 2

Here to a brand new batch of warm sweet links. I've been so sick this past week and though I am a few (too many) days late in posting this, I have been perusing the world wide web and have found some brand new gems!

This little gem needs to be seen by everyone! Cat lovers prepare to have the cuteness part of your heart break. As for you non-cat lovers..Welcome to the community, so happy to have you!

Holy Smokes this chickadee can sing! That is all you will be able to process after you watch her audition. We're the same age but I literally feel like a grandma watching this wishing for the better days. Why can't I be that springy?

Get this app!..or maybe don't because your gonna become addicted, starve yourself, and never fall asleep before 3 AM again. I freckin' love this game. All you do is dig but good golly miss molly it's a goodin'. And it's free!

For all you pinteresters out there, this one's for you. Lauren has basically created the Mona Lisa of pinterest boards. With a good dose of quotes, a heaping spoonful of fashion-osities, and a smattering of girl crush - you need this in your life. Now.

If you have ever wondered if it's physically possible to laugh at the same thing hundreds of thousands of millions of time - it is. Please go and watch this because it really is just too good to miss. Please.

There we are my top 5 links of this week. They are pretty majestical if I do say so myself. And I do.

What have you all had on repeat this week?

Links I Love #1

I think we can all agree that we are a community. Whether you are a reader or a writer, we all communicate with each other and offer our support. I feel like we all need to be doing more 'community' where we can, which is why I am starting an ongoing weekly post of all the blogs, websites, tumblrs and videos that I have been loving through the week. I hope that I can spread some love through this tight family we have created. Here's this week's loves.

I suppose I'm cheating a bit with this one (great way to start off, hey) because I have been reading Codie's blog for quite some time now. She writes of fashion and decadence that can not be outdone. I know that if you like fashion, Paris and macaroons you will absolutely love her as much as I do.

Ahh DailyBumps, how I do love me some baby Ollie, Missy and Bryan. You have most likely known and religiously watched them for some time. Unlike me. I have lost so much tummy casting time that I will never be able to get back.

There's something crazy special about this little lady. She's on baby number two and still looks as magical as Ariel when she's on top of that big rock. Health meets fashion meets one hot mama.

This girls Tumblr account is freaking phenomenal. It's grungey, romantic, simply beautiful. I love getting home from work and relaxing in front of the computer and just lose myself in the wonder that she posts.

Again, not a new found love but definitely a favorite. I could read and watch her blog/videos for hours...wait a minute, what time is it? She's gorgeous and has the best wardrobe of life. Need.

Please go and check out each and every one of my favorites if you haven't already.
What are some of your favorite links?

Hamish

This isn't my usual lovely jubbly post but I just had to write and get out what I've been feeling and what's been happening. I recently started a second job at Coach which has been amazing and everyone has surprisingly been so so nice. I had three days of training and then I was on the floor selling. My shift was for a Saturday.  I got home after my other job on Friday and went to check on the love of my life, Hamish. Hamish, as silly as it sounds, was my best friend and my baby. When I lifted his house he was completely still and had hard shallow breaths. He was dying. He hadn't been too well for the past 3 weeks - not well in that he acted fine. He ate, drank, pee'd everything but he had a huge abdomen. I mean 2 golf balls on either side of him. I have never been so sad and heartbroken in my life. I was crying over him, stroking him, singing to him and telling him that everything is alright and that God would take care of him. I kept repeating "if you have to let go it's okay". He was my baby. I was full out weeping. I know that this sounds silly and over dramatic for a hamster, but if you have ever lost an animal, doesn't matter what breed/species, you will understand the heartache that I felt and still feel. I sat with him for about 3 hours waiting for him to leave but he was still trying to hold on. I felt that I needed to leave him alone and let him focus and rest. I don't know if this was the right thing to do but it's what I felt at the time. I went to bed that night and was so terrified of falling asleep because I knew that in the morning I would have to wake up and make a grave for my baby. When I did wake up early in the morning, the weather was a direct reflection of how I was feeling. Rain and thunder. It was like God was crying with me. I could not stop crying. Once the hole was dug I knew that it was time to get Hamish. It took me a good hour to stop staring at him and gather up the courage and have the mind set to pick up his stiff body and put him in the box that I made for him with all of his favorite treats and toys. Burying him was the most traumatic experience of my life. I have been bullied and been through my parents destructible divorce and all I ever felt was anger. With Hamish it was an undeniable heart wrenching pain that still has not gone away. It has taken me a week to tidy my room and pack away Hamish's things. Maybe this was a bit self destructive but I couldn't bear the thought and fact that he was gone. Maybe I could have done more. Maybe it was my fault. 3 hours after I buried him I had to go to my 'first' day at Coach. I walked in and one of my managers asked me if I was okay. I wasn't and for the first time in my life I cried in public. I know that he was tired, too tired for his small beautiful body. I thought that the fact that he was now no longer in pain or exhausted would help, but nothing has or will. It's a process.

I don't think I will ever get over Hamish or the love that I felt for him and the love I know he felt for me. We had an undeniable bond that wont ever be replaced.

Hamish is and always will be, my baby.

Asos Wish List ♥

I don't know about you but I freckin' love Asos. I'm pretty much addicted to creating a basket full of goodies and then never buying any of it because I am flat broke. There really isn't anything better after a bad day at work or school than a lovely peruse is there? You get to see items that you know for sure would never be in shops. It's even better if your like me and live outside the UK because you'll be able to find things that you lust over but don't have any chance of getting. To top it all off FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY! It's euphoria!

Review || Stila 'In The Light' Eyeshadow Palette

Tonight (or today depending on where you are) I thought I would do a review of my new found friend, Miss.Stila. She really is all that they say she is - kind, warm hearted and has is killer clingy!
I simply must not go without, as I have know addicted to her versatility and brilliance. With how smooth and luxurious she is you would think that she would be in the range of a high class escort, but wouldn't you know, she is cheap as chips!..or free if you get her for your birthday. What a gorgeous broad! Not showy and yet showy enough when you need that natural glow. The shades are all so pigmented so use caution, especially when dealing with her darker side. She's a giver not a taker and all she asks in return is that you love her. A request that is too easily granted.

As you can see above in the always amateur photo, there are both matte as well as shimmer eyeshadow's. I for one am not usually a lover of shimmer eyeshadow because I find that the shimmer granules land everywhere but your lids, and at the end of your working day you look like you've melted. I am grateful and happy to report that all those negatives stop when you use this palette, of course they'll start again if you stop using this lover. No one, including Stila, would be able to stop that.  I couldn't get a good picture of the swatches, like I said- amateur photos, but you'll have to take my word that her shades are all as seen except for 'night sky' or the blue one as I like to call it. The blue one is much darker than the pan shows - more like night sky....so I guess that makes sense.. They go on crazy smooth with no fall out, just make sure you tap your chosen brush before you put bristle to lid.

With these 10 beautiful shades the lovely folks over at Stila also give you a full size Damsel Smudge Stick. I like to use this for my water line, I tried to do a smudgey cat eye but I am either not talented enough ( which is a huge possibility and probably the reason),or the smudge stick is not for doing a nice smooth line. As for the cat eye that's what liquid liner is for, and if your even more talented, gel liner.

I really think that the pay-off is an amazing quality for the freckin' glorious price of $39 buckaroo's. If you are just getting into make up or you want a subtle, easy, everyday make up addition I would definitely advise you to purchase this. You can easy do a smokey eye or for those really lazy days, a wash of 'Sunset' with the water line Damsel'd (yeah that's right, I used it as a verb) and you are ready to dash out the door. As I said before, the versatility of 'In The Light' is truly remarkable. You can get so many different combinations for various occasions, that it would be a crime not to at least go in and swatch it for yourselves. Miss. Stila lives up to all the hype and pressure we beauty bloggers have been putting her under. She is just such a lovely gal!

VERDICT: In The Light is a gorgeous affordable, yet luxurious, eyeshadow palette with neutral shimmers and mattes for every skin tone, personality and occasion. LOVE IT!

Have you tried this or other eyeshadow palettes? Which ones were your personal favorites?

Review || Cyrine Aromatherapie Balancing Rose Geranium *

I was sent this sample a couple of weeks ago, courtesy of Cyrine Aromatherapie. So a huge 'thank you' to them. The first thing I noticed was an overwhelming scent of florals, specifically rose. This may be a positive for some of you lovely fragrant women, but I have quite a sensitive nose when it comes to concentrated scents. This cream came in a cute little personalized glass jar. Personalized in that it has your name right on the front; I think that this is an adorable addition to the packaging.

I want to start off by saying that I have sensitive skin that has a diva complex when dealing with skin care or make up products. When I react I either get a chemical burn or large whiteheads, and if I'm really lucky that day I get both. I've found that this cream sinks into your skin pretty quickly, but does leave a little greasy film on the top. I used this prior to putting my make up on and saw that it made my face extremely greasy, so much so that after about 3 hours it looked as though  didn't have any make up on. I wouldn't recommend using this in the morning or daytime. For comparing to your skin, I have combination with oily areas around my chin and forehead. If you have oily skin in any way I would advise away from this particular product, but you might like to check out the Cyrine Aromatherapie Oily/Combination face cream. I woke up the morning after the first application with 2 large sore whiteheads. Not a pretty sight but it's nothing a little dap of Erase Paste cant fix. Like I said before, I have finicky skin so I wanted to get another opinion on this cream. Which is my I asked my mum if she would try it and then tell me what she thought of it.

This is all my mum's opinion on what she thought of this product. I asked her a few questions and here are her answers.

Did you notice any changes to your skin?
"I noticed that my skin was more hydrated and smoother. It lasted until the next day."

Did you find it oily or greasy?
"No. It sunk in fully and didn't leave a film on my skin."

How did you find it went onto your skin?
"It went on smoothy and quickly, but I did have to use a moderate amount which wouldn't be good if the product cost above average."

What did you think of the scent?
"I found that the scent was strong but not unpleasant. I personally really like floral scents, so the fragrance was pleasing rather than overwhelming."

What are some pro's of the product?
"I love the smell and that I can recognize most if not all of the ingredients in the product. It's all natural - I'm allergic to aloe vera and it's often very difficult for me to find natural products that do not include aloe. Along with being natural, there are no additives. This was very hydrating for my dry skin."

What are some con's?
"I didn't like that this was in a pot. I think that it's unhygienic and would rather it be in a tube so I wouldn't have to stick my fingers in. I don't think this has SPF in it which is a large con, especially because I have mature skin. The price is also an issue for me."

Would you purchase it?
"I would buy it depending on how much it would set me back."

All in all I think this specific cream would be most suitable for more mature skin. I would strongly advise against it if you are under the age of 25. I think the strong scent in this doesn't help the cause at all, but it seems that my mother really enjoyed it so it just proves that just because something doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean that it won't work for someone else. I went onto Cyrine's website to try and find the specific face cream that I got, but unfortunately I couldn't track it down so I don't know how much this one would set you back. The other face creams can go from £20.00 - £56.00 and they come in either 30 mL or 50 mL.

VERDICT: This cream is too greasy and strongly fragranced for someone with sensitive skin, but seems to be a good natural choice for mature skin.

Please go check out Cyrine Aromatherapie's website - they have face products to hand creams, bath salts to candles and even massages! They have something for everyone! See if there is something that catches your eye and please let me know if you do purchase something and your opinion of it.

Review || Lush Cupcake Face Mask

I've been wanting to try a new face mask other than my usual Love Lettuce, so when one of the lovely sales associates pointed me to this little man, I was all over it!....until I smelt it. Although I loved the promises of the mask, i really wasn't all for the chocolate smell. I'm still not. If you aren't a fan of the fake chocolate smell I would only get this if you know that you'll be able to sit 10 - 15 minutes with it on your face. I bought Cupcake because i've found that my face has become crazy oily recently. I think it has to do with  a change in climate , I haven't changed my skin care or make-up routine so I don't think its that. With this oil comes the evil that is blackheads. The mask is essentially a 'clay' mask which is used primarily for deep cleansing goodness.

It's made up of real cocoa powder, spearmint oil, sandalwood oil, rhassoul mud, cocoa butter, and a dash of fresh mint. The Sandalwood oil is the featured ingredient in this mask- it's used as an astringent and antiseptic which will help acne-prone skin. It's also used to soothe and moisturize dry uneven skin. The consistency is like a lot of other clay masks, in that it is incredibly thick and you have to get it a little warm to spread across your face. It's very smooth so it does spread easily after its been worked a bit. Once you have made yourself look like a lost boy, just relax and hold your breath to avoid the chocolatey fumes. Wait about 15 minutes for maximum results and rinse with warm water. I would advise using your favorite toner almost immediately after all the products off.

I don't really think that I would purchase this again, unless I get a particularly bad bout of spots. I didn't see any major results, and the results that I did see only lasted until the water dried. I noticed after that my skin was less shiny but it didn't last long at all. One thing that I will give a bug beauty guru thumbs up is the smoothness that you get immediately after which lasted for about 3 days. This is a clay mask so I was expecting my face to feel super clean after each use but unfortunately didn't see any evidence.  I'd advise checking out the Love Lettuce mask before this and if you don't see results, then try this. They are for almost the same thing but LL will give you more visible results that last much longer. I will say though, this mask is targeted for teens, so maybe it would work better for younger girls. This mask, like all Lush face masks, is only $6.95 so if you would want to try it, it isn't like you would be loosing a huge amount of money.

VERDICT: It's alright but the novelty of a chocolate face mask is no good if it doesn't live up to its promises.

Have you guys tried this mask or other Lush masks? What did you think of it?

Mallzee || A Shopping Experience

If you're a blogger I'm sure you've heard all about Mallzee and their new revolutionary online shopping experience. Mallzee will ask you a few questions to get the lay of the land, and then will produce a variety of styles and clothes that are suited specifically with you in mind. For example - if your into alternative Rita Ora type style, you won't be seeing any preppy Kate Middleton clothes and vice versa. I can't tell you how many times i've been perusing Urban Outfitters clothing and wanted what Mallzee is offering. Seriously, there's only so much fringe and rips this girl can take!

The people of Mallzee must have been on something that day because their genius does not stop there!! In addition to having a tailor made wardrobe, you will also be able to chat with your friends. Ask them if they think that one totally cute top would go with the pants in the back of your closet that you have never worn but are anxious to, so that your mum will stop harping on... That has never happened to me... Put Facebook aside and just do what every girl secretly yearns for - talk about clothes! Recommend outfits to them and even set up polls if you can't decide about something. Fun is the name of the game!

You know money? Well Mallzee has their own! That is right and they are handing it out like an 80 year old teacher hands out pop quizzes. For every purchase you make, they will give you Mallzee dollars. The more you shop the more you get. Simple as. There are over 300 shops so trust me, you'll be needing those dollars. Some of the shops are Forever 21, Asos, Urban Outfitters, Ted Baker, French Connection and loads more!

Mallzee also has a competition going on through Pinterest - if you win you will receive £100 voucher!

Review || Clinique Clarifying Lotion 1

I'm going to start off by giving myself a huge pat on the back. I am on a roll with these blog post thingys! With that being said...Clinique Clarifying Lotion is just horrendous!!!

Not a great segue but we must go onwards! So yeah, their clarifying lotion which is essentially a toner, is probably the worst skin care product that i've tried to date. When I was looking into these I saw that they had one specifically for dry and sensitive skin, which was a huge bonus for me as I have both dry and sensitive skin. But on almost immediate departure from cotton pad to face, I could tell that this was not going to be a good match for me. It started off just with a slight sting and tightness that surrounds a lot of skin care products, so I didn't think too harshly about it. However, as the days wore on I noticed that my skin was starting to get uber sore and red as well as severely dry. You hear a lot that your skin takes about a month to get used to a product, so again I just thought that this was the process to getting results. Oh so wrong was I, about a week or two in my skin was essentially burnt and in my opinion, had 1 layer left before you reach blood vessels. At the beginning of this catastrophic product I used it twice a day, once at morning and night, then as I saw the effects it was having on my skin I went down to just once at night.  I'm no expert but i've been calling 'the incident' a chemical burn. I've tried a few products from Clinique's skin care range and I really must say that i'm not at all impressed. They can cost you quite a nice bit of money, but I don't think you get a lot of bang for your buck. So you don't think I'm bashing on Clinique for the hell of it; I do love their Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. It's basically a moisturizing gel and though expensive, it really does do the job incredibly well. I would recommend it to anyone with dry or normal skin, as well as people with combination or sensitive skin.

I should also point out that I've looked at both Clinique's own website as well as Sephora's and have seen very few reviews that were anything but negative. So I can't say that if you have dry or sensitive skin you should not try this, because obviously it has worked for a lot of people. I just personally find it incredibly harsh on the skin, especially when it's aim is to help sensitive faces. I don't see the logic in it myself, but maybe it's like Proactive. You can't knock it 'til you try it. I did try Proactive and it was equally as horrible...just sayin'.

Have you tried this toner? I'd really like to know what you thought of it and if it worked for you!

If I Had A Boat, I Would Sail To You || Empties

If you follow me on twitter you would have seen my tweet saying that my laptop has gone to the land of many a shizzy electronics. It's really become quite a paradise, you'd be surprised. Anywho, I am now  using my lovely sisters mac for the time being - updates may not be super frequent, but we'll make it through. As an addict of all things beauty and therefore have numerous products. I've saved my empty containers to share with you all. Please note that I am in fact a beauty blogger not a hoarder. That is clear, right?

TRESemme Extra Firm Control Hair Spray || This is my favourite hairspray I have ever tried by miles!! I will openly admit that I am incredibly sceptical when in comes to TRESemme products, specifically their shampoo and conditioners. So, when my mum bought this I was really disappointed because I knew that i would have to endure this ridiculously large can. Well slap me twice and pat me on the bottom; this hairspray is nearly sticky-less, is phenomenally light weight, lasts for 2 hamster lives and is cheaper than a double bubble addicts daily dose.

HEMPZ Haute Mess || Dry shampoo, obviously, is predominately used for those days when a shower is physically implausible, but I urge you beauty lovers to use this bad gal as a styling product. It'll give your hair grip and texture without the coating and shine of other sources. That being said, I probably wont end up buying this specific dry shampoo again. Mainly because i didn't notice a huge difference between my pre dry shampoo and my immediate post. Also this was around the 12 dollar mark, which for me is a nut too much, especially for something that will only give you the security of 4-6 hours of just shy of greaseless hair. Too much for too little in my humbly obnoxious opinion.

REDKEN Wool Shake 08 || If you haven't already read, I did a full review of this wondrous gem. Plug done. This is my favorite hair product of life. It is amazing. It is my baby. It's a texturizer on acid. It makes your hair, especially if you have a longer bob with long layers, look like you've spent freckin' hours perfecting each strand into a specific shapes. It's pink and smells phenominal. Although my baby doesn't come cheap, around the $23 dollar mark, it has lasted me a full year of joy and tearless mornings. It's worth every rounded penny in its flawlessness. I love it and so will you. Buy it now!!!!!

Herbal Essences Totally Twisted || HOLY SHMOLEY this scrunching gel has lasted practically my whole hormonal life! It is a go to hair product when you have a shower in the night, don't dry your hair and wake up with curls going in every vertical and horizontal direction. Although I believe it's supposed to be used mainly when blow drying, but really who's got time for that?! The gel in infused with french lavender and jade extracts - to put it plainly, it smells crazy delicious. It's pretty affordable coming around the 10 dollar price point, and again it lasts you ages. I'd recommend getting this if you have seriously unruly curls and you don't want to faff around with getting them into place.

St.Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Scrub || In all honesty I dont have too much to say about this blemish & blackhead exfoliator. It's a pretty average product. For my skin it didn't improve my troubled spots, but in fairness it didn't make it any worse. I'm sure it did get rid of dead skin cells, but unfortunately it wasn't a noticeable difference. I wouldn't recommend this for mature skin or that has mild-severe acne. I think it would be more worth while to buy a more expensive product that would better suit your skin. However, if you are in your early teens I don't see any harm in just using this one. I cant remember the price but I would guesstimate it being around $10. It's alright but nothing to write home about.

Lush Love Lettuce Mask || I wrote a full review of this exquisite example of modern skin care. I freckin' ( yes it's my new word, deal with it) am in love with its ability to transform my drabby skin in a mere 15 minutes. This green wonder is as beautifully refreshing as it is exquisitely exfoliating. I just love the fact that as it helps my skin recover from the disgusting monstrosities that I put my skin through, at the same time it relaxes and releases the stress from not only your mind but from your skin as well. It helps reduce the amount of oil on your skin, decreases blemishes, and removes any dead skin cells and impurities. At only 7 dollars this mask is a steal!

LORAC Natural Performance Foundation NP3 || I'm afraid I don't have great things to say about this, my only make up product. The first and most important reason is that Lorac tests on animals. HUGE NO NO!! At the time of purchase I was in utter ignorance to this, so please don't blame me. My cats do that enough... Other than the politics surrounding this otherwise dismal foundation, I found it to be remarkably full of cake. A cake festival if you will. This would go on in a normal average fashion, but come 45 minutes later it would be in every nook and cranny I have. Also as it was sulking there is oxidized. You know what that means, dont you?! Umpah Lumpah alert!! Seriously bad news!! Im talking literal orange! Benjamin Moore would be proud. Along with the disgusting nature of the shade, I found that the longer I used this my face would just be soo oily! It's like the foundation sunk into my skin, changed state and came out in an oil. It was just an all round bad product, but it comes from people who hate animals so what can you expect? This totalled to $47- seriously.

I'm thinking of making a YouTube video with more info on these products, please let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.

What are some of your products that you always replace when they've gone to the beauty gods?
